Here are a couple shots of my Stage 4 Clutch Specialties clutch (from Brian @ Wicked Performance)and the JR Flywheel *by Fidanza and brought to you by JRCivic wink

I got the alignment tool along with the Koyo bearings just as everyone else did. For those who haven't seen the ratings on this clutch, it is rated to hold up to 350 ft/lb's of torque though (I think it works out to about 425 hp eek ) but is reported to be a smoother engaging clutch then the Stage 3 due to the sprung full faced segmented plate (the Stage 3 is a sprung 6 puck). The material is Iron rather then copper (Stage 3 is copper) and from what Vtecno Geek tells me, it grabs like no other and also comes with the 1850 lb PP. A difference I saw right off the bat in the design differences from the Stage 2 is the springs use in the hub. Looking at it they look like rubber plugs, but upon closer inspection you can see the heavy duty springs inside the *Hardened rubber plugs.
The shots of the JR flywheel speak for them selves I think. High quality piece with much attention payed to detail in machining and assembly of the flywheel. The scale is usually off a 1.5 lbs (to keep the girlfriend happy biggrin) so the wieght is right were it is supposed to be.

Now to just get the LSD, clutch, and flywheel installed to see how they all work together smile

For those that are discouraged or broke... I have more flywheels in stock if you are ready for one.

(Zip and Zeus... this goes for you too).

This statement from the Fidanza Instructions concerns me. Look under the heading, "Balancing"
    View?u190061&ampa9805594&ampp33792381&ampSequence0&ampreshigh
    Here's what it states verbatim:
Since this CNC machined aluminum flywheel is very close to the correct balance, but you should always check the balance with your clutch pressure plate and your particular engine--especially if it's an external balance configuration (off-set weight on the flywheel).

So do I have to check the balance prior to installation, MrRogers?

Zip...what they mean is that the balanced the flywheel to spec...some people like to balance the whole rotating assembly together..flywheel/pressure plate/disc...just to make sure its balanced....I dont think its necessary to balance it all together for the average street car....but if you are a perfectionist it doesnt hurt either
